New Bee Queen Minion Stings Into Last Epoch Hype Week Day 4 Recap
Mar-21-2026 PSTToday, we’re diving into the excitement from Last Epoch, as we wrap up Hype Week Day 4. The team at EHG has saved the best for last with new sets, minions, unique items, animation overhauls, and more. It’s shaping up to be an epic season! Having plenty of Last Epoch gold can be a great help to you.
New Sets and Unique Items
First off, we’ve got some new sets to check out. While some of them were previously teased, there’s plenty of exciting new content for us to explore.
1. Doppelganger Set
This is a set exclusive to the Rogue class, and it’s perfect for anyone who loves to dodge and weave through combat. The two-set bonus causes your evade to create a shadow at your original position, allowing for quick repositioning. The three-set bonus is even better—traversal skills now create two shadows along the path, which will be incredible for the Shift skill. This set is going to make the Rogue’s mobility even more fluid.
2. New Minion: Queen Bee
And here’s the big reveal: the Queen Bee! You may recall that during one of the earlier streams, Mike was asked about new minions for Season 4, and his response was somewhat cryptic. Now, we know that the Queen Bee is coming, and it feels almost mandatory to play it. This new minion could very well open up the possibility of a Bee Army build—yes, you read that right, a swarm of bees at your command. I’m definitely considering switching my Season 4 start to Beastmaster just for this. Who could resist the charm of commanding a hive of bees? It’s going to be a fun (and possibly hilarious) addition to the game.
3. The Abandoned Set
This set, known as Weaver’s Will, boosts the legendary affixes on any equipped Weaver’s Will weapons by 50%. If you’ve got a top-tier Weaver’s weapon, this set will significantly amplify its power.
4. Kuzzon Set
The Kuzzon set focuses on throwing daggers and offers some intriguing bonuses. When you throw a burning dagger, you’ll gain a stack of Dancing Dragon, which boosts your dodge rating, fire damage, and the area of your fire skills. The effect can stack up to 40 times, and with 160% increased fire damage and area, this set looks like it could be quite powerful for any fire-based build.
5. German Set
This one’s for the dual-wielders! If your main hand and offhand are different one-handed weapons, the German set gives you 20% more damage while dual-wielding. Plus, the three-set bonus grants a significant boost to your critical strike multiplier. It’s a simple but potent set for those who prefer to go all-in on dual-wielding.
6. Volcanic Orb Set
Fans of Volcanic Orb will love this one! The new set allows the orb to orbit around you, and it also increases its duration by 30% when the orb’s last cast was a different element. This is going to give more freedom to experiment with elemental builds while making Volcanic Orb even more dynamic.
Exciting New Uniques
Moving on from sets, we’ve got a few new, unique items to check out that will surely shake up the meta.
1. Tabby of Dusk and Dawn (Boots)
These boots, inspired by From Dusk Till Dawn, provide a great utility for those using Shadow Rend. They no longer move you, but instead, they ensure that your shadow rend will manifest a melee shadow in front of you and a bow shadow behind you. Additionally, these boots increase the damage of skills used by shadows and give you a decent flat health boost and movement speed.
2. Ashwake (Boots)
These boots convert your Aura of Decay to fire damage. This is going to be a must-have for any Necromancer who wants to integrate fire damage into their build. If you’re running a fire-based Acolyte or Necro build, these boots are going to be an absolute game-changer.
3. Ry’s Embrace
This unique item is designed for Beastmaster players. It has a chance to ignite minions on hit, increasing both the damage of your minions and your own damage. It also converts your Summon Spriggan and Summon Storm Crows to fire. Fire-based minions in Last Epoch? Yes, please!
4. Natural Wrath
This unique idol for the Primalist class is an absolute blast. It converts Upheaval and Earthquake into lightning damage after accumulating at least 30 storm stacks. It can also use storm stacks to cast Earthquake, and the results are bound to be electrifying (literally).
5. Devastation (Bladestorm)
This unique item for Rogues increases Bladestorm duration and area, which sounds great. The added feature that Bladestorm now throws an explosive trap at an enemy every second is pretty exciting. This means you can trigger traps while simultaneously slashing away at your enemies. I’m very curious to see how this will impact builds!
Combat and Animations Overhaul
It’s not just about new items; combat has also received some much-needed improvements. For a long time, players have complained about the lack of impact when hitting enemies, but EHG has listened. In Season 4, enemies will visibly react when hit, making combat feel more engaging and impactful.
The Primalist class is also getting an animation overhaul, improving how their attacks, running, and leaping look. Additionally, the Rogue class will get a new bow-pull animation, further enhancing the visual experience of combat.
Monolith Changes
One of the biggest changes coming to Last Epoch in Season 4 is the revamped Monolith system. Players will now have more freedom in how they interact with the Monolith and can choose from any of the initial timelines. However, to access the final three timelines, players will need to gather Knowledge of Orabus by completing certain tasks and conquering various timelines. This new progression system gives players more flexibility while also adding an extra layer of challenge for those who want to speed up their journey.
UI and Quality of Life Improvements
As always, EHG continues to improve the overall user experience. The Monolith UI has been updated to streamline the process, and quest echoes will no longer clutter the timelines. In addition, Nemesis UI has received a makeover, making it easier to navigate the game’s challenges without accidentally misclicking.
Conclusion: The Hype Is Real!
Season 4 of Last Epoch is shaping up to be a game-changer. With new minions like the Bee Queen, exciting new sets and unique items, and major combat and progression updates, it’s hard not to be hyped. A large amount of cheap Last Epoch gold can also be of great help to you.
